This past weekend I attended a very special wedding. With less than 75 guests and my favorite family members in tow, I spent Saturday evening at the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve. My cousin James got married and it was absolutely beautiful; a short sweet ceremony above all the mountains in Hidden Hills. I cant even begin to explain how special I felt being a part of that incredible moment in his life. The boho-rustic-chic vibe was EVERYTHING. Not to mention, Coldplay, the Lambada and Sia’s ‘Clap Your Hands’ aiding in our dance party shenanigans.
The weather was beautiful, when the sun set it was warm with a cool breeze; I even took a moment with my cousin and ran into the darkness just to take a second and talk about this monumental moment that we were asked to be a part of. I wore a pastel pink flowy dress–cotton and lace–with a flower crown. Informal but fun–gypsy style. I plan on spending many weekends just like I did this past weekend; with a drink in my hand, wearing a flower crown, while dancing…always dancing and laughing. I just want to be outdoors this summer…with the people I love the most, truly enjoying their company.
