Good morning! So I read an article a couple of weeks ago about lemon water. Rather simple, just hot water and lemon. I read about what it could do for your skin, your digestion, but more importantly, your peace of mind. The author of the article wrote about how the hot lemon water became part of her morning routine; she even woke up 15 minutes earlier just to have this time to sip. Recently, I have been making it part of my routine as well. I have this Hamilton Electric Kettle that boils water in two minutes, so I wake up 10 minutes earlier nowadays and set up my mug, lemon and water. Then I sip as I get ready. This little morning routine has definitely been helping with my peace of mind, but I don’t think I’ve been doing it long enough to see results quite yet. I also spent about $80 on a new face cream and face wash that’s all organic that literally expires after a certain amount of time…so I’m hoping that this mixture of skin investments pays off!

Here’s how I make my lemon water in the morning (VERY SIMPLE):

  1. Grab a mug.
  2. Squeeze half a lemon in my cup.
  3. Pour boiling hot water over the lemon juice.
  4. Pop a slice of lemon on top!
