What’s better than waking up with a grateful heart? Not much let me tell you. I think it’s super easy to focus on what we don’t have, what we’re lacking, where we’re falling short…the hard work is in retraining your mind. I have decided to spend more time focusing on what I do have, what I’m good at and how happy I’ve been. It’s hard to muster up the energy to constantly be ON and be happy. I have found that a lot of the focus I am looking for relies upon consistency. I think it’s REALLY important that if you’ve decided to use this new year as a time to refocus and crush some goals, then consistency is the ONLY way you’re going to get there. If I can offer up any advice for the next 21 days (I heard you can make OR BREAK a habit in this amount of time) it’s to wake up every morning with a grateful heart CONSISTENTLY. Mark your agenda (I just marked mine) for January 23rd and check back on how you’re doing. It’s simple, it’s fun, and most importantly, it’s good for YOU!
